Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers confront the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Robinson (Concord, NC).

The Buccaneers now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29.
