With the win, General McLane advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Sharon (Sharon, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 31. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Sharon won 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA)
In their next game, the Hornets play the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 28. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
