Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Marksmen confront the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) in a Pocket challenge, on Monday, August 28. Tell City will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Rangers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN).

The Vikings now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evansville Reitz for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29.
