August 26, 2023: Mt. Morris, MI 48458 In Saturday's non-league contest, the East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI) volleyball squad nudged the host Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), by a margin of 2-1.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Warriors enter the Capital Area - Blue challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Waverly Springport (Springport, MI), 2-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) in a Mid-Michigan Athletic challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Mt. Morris will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Marauders enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI).
