August 26, 2023: Wheeling, IL 60090 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), saw Evanston's volleyball team run past Wheeling by a score of 2-0.
The Wildkits now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mundelein for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Evanston will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Grant Community was knocked off by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
