Kentucky High School Volleyball - Frederick Douglass overwhelmed by Montgomery County
August 26, 2023: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Montgomery County Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Frederick Douglass Broncos.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Rowan County lost by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Broncos clash with the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Frederick Douglass will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
