Texas High School Volleyball - Marshall can't hold off MacArthur

August 26, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78217

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host MacArthur Brahmas volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Marshall Rams.

The Brahmas (20-8) will now prepare for their battle against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 20-1 record. In their last battle, Floresville nudged Seguin (Arlington, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rams clash with the Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, August 29. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 16-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX).
