August 26, 2023: Marshall, TX 75670 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) and the visiting Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX), saw Marshall's volleyball squad beat Redwater by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Mavericks host Ferris (Ferris, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Ferris won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX)
The Dragons now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rivercrest for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Redwater will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 10-6.
