August 26, 2023: Weatherford, TX 76087 The Weatherford Kangaroos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Midway Panthers to 0 in the Kangaroos non-league victory on Saturday.
The Kangaroos now have a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waxahachie for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Weatherford will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX). The Indians record now stands at 14-13.
The Panthers (14-14) will now prepare for their outing against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards go into the non-league outing with a 18-6 record. In their last outing, Lorena beat Kaufman (Kaufman, TX), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
