The Warren Central Vikings held off the visiting Northeast Jones Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartfield Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Warren Central will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Meridian, MS). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Lamar held off Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 3-1, in a league test.
