The Schulenburg Shorthorns topped the visiting Sinton Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Shorthorns now have a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Schulenburg will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Banquete (Banquete, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.

The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 9-9 record.
