California High School Flag Football - Jordan thwarted by Lakewood
August 26, 2024: Lakewood, CA 90713 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA), 20-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lakewood improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA) to play the Bruins in a battle on Wednesday, August 28. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Woodrow Wilson lost 27-0 in their recent non-league battle against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA)
The Panthers now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Cabrillo for a battle on Wednesday, August 28. Jordan will play a Jaguars team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Compton (Compton, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-2.
