California High School Flag Football - Kearny defeats Montgomery
August 26, 2024: San Diego, CA 92111 The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), witnessed Kearny's flag football squad topple Montgomery by a tally of 31-0.
The Komets (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA). The Pilots enter the City - Eastern contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Academy of Our Lady of Peace thwarted Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA), 20-13, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Aztecs confront the Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Montgomery will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 18-8 non-league loss to Imperial (Imperial, CA).
