August 26, 2024: Lancaster, KY 40444 The North Laurel Jaguars soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Garrard County Golden Lions to 3 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Monday.
The Jaguars now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Whitley County for a District 49 bout on Tuesday, August 27. North Laurel will play a Colonels squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Garrard County moves to 2-3 on the year. The Golden lions host Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Southwestern won 8-0 in their recent league bout against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)
