August 26, 2024: Mooresville, NC 28117 Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Norman moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to meet the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0. North Iredell won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Carson (China Grove, NC)
The Cardinals now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hopewell for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Berry will meet a Titans team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.
