Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carlynton advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Carrick won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Valley (New Kensington, PA)
