In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Shelby Golden Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Crest Chargers.

The Golden Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Newton-Conover by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
