Georgia High School Softball - New Manchester bounces Washington
August 26, 2024: Douglasville, GA 30135 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Washington Bulldogs (Atlanta, GA), observed New Manchester's softball team notch a victory over Washington by a tally of 17-1.
The Jaguar (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans go into the 5A Region 5 bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, South Paulding was routed by Franklin County (Carnesville, GA), 11-10, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Region 5 bout, on Thursday, August 29. Washington will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 19-5 non-league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA).
