With the win, Cedar Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Izard County (Brockwell, AR) to encounter the Cougars in a 2A 2 battle on Thursday, August 29. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Bobcats now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barton for a 2A 4 battle on Tuesday, August 27. Corning will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lee (Marianna, AR). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
