South Carolina High School Volleyball - James F. Byrnes can't get by Providence Athletic Club
August 26, 2025: Duncan, SC 29334 Providence Athletic Club Panthers (Columbia, SC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover (Clover, SC). The Blue Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Clover edged Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels play the Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 game, on Wednesday, August 27. James F. Byrnes will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Generals go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC).
