Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the host San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA), 39-6 in a non-league test.

The Highlanders now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brawley for a non-league test on Friday, August 29.

With the defeat, San Dieguito Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA) to meet the Sundevils in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Sundevils come into the test with a record of 4-0.
