August 26, 2025: Valparaiso, IN 46385 Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), 2-1 in a league outing.
The Cherokees (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Michigan City was edged by Hobart (Hobart, IN), 9-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wolves play the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 28. Boone Grove will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Blazers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Hebron (Hebron, IN).
