August 26, 2025: Chicago, IL 60629 Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hubbard Greyhounds (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Proviso East advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Kelly (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Greyhounds now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kelly for a test on Wednesday, September 3.
