August 26, 2025: Monroe, LA 71201 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the NELA Christian Homeschool Flame (Monroe, LA) and the visiting John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA), observed NELA Christian Homeschool's volleyball team top John Paul the Great Academy by a count of 2-0.
The Flame (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day (Lake Charles, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop Noland Episcopal Day was knocked off by Midstate Homeschool (Alexandria, LA), 2-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Guardians face the Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. John Paul the Great Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX).
