August 26, 2025: Durham, NC 27707 The Durham Academy Cavaliers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Jordan Falcons to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Forsyth Country Day for a non-league game on Friday, August 29. Durham Academy will face a Furies team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Furies record now stands at 0-5.
The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their game against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, East Chapel Hill edged Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 6-0, in a non-league game.
