Minnesota High School Soccer - New Ulm knocks off Fairmont
August 26, 2025: Fairmont, MN 56031 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting New Ulm Eagles soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Fairmont Cardinals.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays go into the Class A Section 2 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Waseca thwarted Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 4-2, in a league bout.
With the loss, Fairmont moves to 0-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Waseca (Waseca, MN) to encounter the Bluejays in a Class A Section 2 challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Waseca lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MN)
