August 26, 2025: North East, PA 16428 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), by a margin of 12-2.
The Grape Pickers now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sharon for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. North East will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Girard (Girard, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, West Middlesex moves to 0-1 on the year. The Big reds travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Greenville lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshannock (New Castle, PA)
