With the triumph, Pepperell improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Dragons host Temple (Temple, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A D-I Region 6 match on Wednesday, August 27. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 5-5. Temple won 14-12 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA)
The Tigers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Luella for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. Douglas County will confront a Lions team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
