August 26, 2025: Sylacauga, AL 35150 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) and the host Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), observed Calera's volleyball team top Sylacauga by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Calera improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host McAdory (McCalla, AL) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 0-3.
The Aggies now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Montevallo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. Sylacauga will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Indian Springs (Pelham, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
