Georgia High School Volleyball - Carver over Calhoun County
August 26, 2025: Edison, GA 39846 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA) and the host Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA), observed Carver's volleyball team top Calhoun County by a count of 2-0.
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kendrick (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Kendrick notched a victory over Therrell (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars meet the Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Calhoun County will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Baker County (Newton, GA).
