California High School Volleyball - Colton can't get by Montclair
August 26, 2025: Colton, CA 92324 Montclair Cavaliers (Montclair, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Colton Yellowjackets (Colton, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Montclair improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Nogales (La Puente, CA) to meet the Nobles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Nobles come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Nogales lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA)
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the San Gorgonio Spartans (San Bernardino, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, August 27. Colton will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Indian Springs (San Bernardino, CA).
