The San Antonio Christian Lions volleyball squad (San Antonio, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX)

With the win, East Central improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to United (Laredo, TX) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Longhorns enter the contest with a record of 10-6. United won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Judson (Converse, TX)

Next, the Lions battle the Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 28. San Antonio Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Rangers go into the battle with a 10-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).
