The St. Edward Green Wave volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Elgin Maroons to 0 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Green Wave now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. St. Edward will confront a Royal Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Royal Lions record now stands at 2-0.
