The Lamar Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Kennedale Wildcats to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Weatherford for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Lamar will confront a Kangaroos squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 11-8.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Brock (Brock, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 13-4 record. In their last game, Brock gained a win over Peaster (Peaster, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
