Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Tunkhannock over Lackawanna Trail
August 26, 2025: Tunkhannock, PA 18657 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) and the visiting Lackawanna Trail Lions (Factoryville, PA), saw Tunkhannock's volleyball squad notch a victory over Lackawanna Trail by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Tunkhannock improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers host Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA) to meet the Knights in a Wyoming Valley challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lake-Lehman lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA)
In their next game, the Lions face the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a Lackawanna test, on Thursday, August 28. Lackawanna Trail will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
