Texas High School Volleyball - St. Paul can't get by Yoakum
August 26, 2025: Shiner, TX 77984 Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX), 3-2 in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Nixon-Smiley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Yoakum will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, St. Paul moves to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 10-6. Fayetteville won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX)
