August 26, 2025: Newport News, VA 23608 The Woodside Wolverines volleyball squad scored 3 points and limited the visiting Western Branch Bruins to 0 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula game, on Thursday, September 4. Woodside will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
With the loss, Western Branch drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bruins host Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Southeastern bout on Thursday, August 28. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Nansemond River lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)
