The Portsmouth Christian Patriots football team (Portsmouth, VA), was beaten 41-14 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA)

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Norfolk Christian was beaten by Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA), 30-10, in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Isle of Wight Academy for a VISAA Metro challenge on Friday, September 2.
