Idaho High School Soccer - Columbia held off by Wood River
August 27, 2022: Hailey, ID 83333 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) and the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), saw Wood River's soccer squad get by Columbia by a margin of 3-2.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Twin Falls for a 4A District IV test on Tuesday, August 30. Wood River will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Bruins record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Columbia falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mountain View (Meridian, ID) to play the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Monday, August 29. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Mountain View won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Vallivue (Caldwell, ID)
