August 27, 2022: Hubbard, OH 44425 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) and the host Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH), saw Ursuline's soccer squad triumph over Hubbard by a margin of 6-1.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Ursuline will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Hubbard drops to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Girard (Girard, OH) to meet the Indians in a Northeast 8 test on Monday, August 29. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-1. Girard won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Columbiana (Columbiana, OH)
