August 27, 2022: East Peoria, IL 61611 Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Beecher will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 league loss to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL).
The Raiders now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Limestone for a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, August 30. East Peoria will confront a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Streator (Streator, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 4-1.
