Kentucky High School Soccer - Greenup County knocks off Menifee County
August 27, 2022: Frenchburg, KY 40322 Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Musketeers face the Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Greenup County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).
The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Paris for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 29. Menifee County will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-1.
