Georgia High School Softball - Cedartown gets by Mt. Zion
August 27, 2022: Cedartown, GA 30125 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) and the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), witnessed Cedartown's softball squad tip Mt. Zion by a count of 10-9.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Haralson County for a non-league match on Saturday, August 27. Cedartown will face a Rebels squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Mt. Zion moves to 3-4 on the season. The Eagles host Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to face the War Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, August 29. The War Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-5. Landmark Christian lost 14-9 in their recent non-league match against Heritage (Newnan, GA)
