In Saturday's non-league contest, the Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), by a score of 2-0.

The Purple Cats now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brockton for a non-league test on Monday, August 29. Ariton will confront a Gamecocks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 3-2.

The Flying Squadron (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Lanier (Montgomery, AL). The Poets come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
