California High School Volleyball - Artesia can't hold off Mary Star of the Sea
August 27, 2022: Lakewood, CA 90715 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Artesia Pioneers.
The Stars (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Adelanto (Adelanto, CA). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Adelanto nudged University Prep (Victorville, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pioneers encounter the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 30. Artesia will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Jesters come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA).
