August 27, 2022: Pico Rivera, CA 90660 The Fountain Valley Barons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host El Rancho Dons to 0 in the Barons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Barons now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Amigos for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Fountain Valley will meet a Lobos team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 0-3.
The Dons (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs enter the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Santa Fe gained a win over La Mirada (La Mirada, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
