The Valley Heights Mustangs held off the host Sabetha Bluejays volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Axtell for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Valley Heights will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

The Bluejays (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder enter the Big Seven test with a 0-0 record.
