Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Warriors/Cherokees battle the Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 27. Tuloso-Midway will attempt to better on its 15-9 season record. The Gobblers come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).

With the loss, Yoakum drops to 11-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 30.
