August 27, 2024: Alverton, PA 15612 The Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Scotties now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bentworth for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 28. Southmoreland will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Bethlehem Center moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a WPIAL A 2 challenge on Thursday, August 29.
