August 27, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27106 Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles (Lexington, NC), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Woodland Baptist Christian advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Manna Christian (Marion, NC) to clash with the Wind in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Wind come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Sheets Memorial Christian will clash with a Cougar team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC). The Cougar record now stands at 0-2.
